Good luck to Luke Van Der Merwe (grade 12) who is travelling to Lima, Peru to compete in the 2024 World Athletics u20 Championships.
Luke, who is the reigning CAA African Junior Championship gold medalist and record holder, will compete in the Men’s u20 High Jump in the colours of South Africa.
Luke’s goals heading into the competition:
“My goal for the World u20s is definitely to medal. Being in the younger age group, I am grateful just to have the opportunity to compete for my country again and give it my all.”
