Pittsburgh Steelers land superstar wide receiver in proposed trade

It’s no secret that the Pittsburgh Steelers are in the market for a wide receiver as they continue to be involved in the Brandon Aiyuk trade/extension saga with the San Francisco 49ers.

Meanwhile, in Cincinnati, the Bengals have their own wide receiver saga unfolding with superstar wideout Ja’Marr Chase, who is currently in the  as he seeks a contract extension from the team.

While it’s highly unlikely the Bengals would even consider trading Chase, that didn’t stop from suggesting four trade scenarios involving the former No. 5 overall pick.

One of those scenarios involves the Steelers sending the Bengals three 2025 draft picks, including one in the first round, one in the third and one in the fourth.

“If the Steelers are serious about augmenting Russell Wilson, George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth with a top-flight wideout, they shouldn’t hesitate to offer a package to Cincinnati headlined by a first-round pick along with some mid-round selections,” Kay wrote of his proposed deal for Chase.

Considering how good Chase is and how much Pittsburgh needs help at wide receiver, Steelers fans would no doubt be on board with such a deal. However, there’s simply no chance this deal will ever happen.
