Newcastle told Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise will be sold for ‘huge’ fees

Eberechi Eze or Michael Olise will be sold by Crystal Palace for “huge money” as Newcastle plot triple raid.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Scotland defender Alan Hutton explained that both players are ready to take the step to the next level, but Palace will be able to secure astronomical fees.

The talented duo have been heavily linked to moves away from Selhurst Park this summer, with sources telling Football Insider today that Newcastle retain an active interest in signing them.

Eze, 25, featured 31 times in attacking midfield last season, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists, with six of those goals and three assists coming after the arrival of Oliver Glasner.

Olise, 22, struggled with injury issues, but recorded ten goals and six assists in 19 games from the right wing, starting just 14 times in the Premier League.

Those performances have generated high levels of interest in both players, with the likes of Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Man United tracking their progress.

However, as reported by Football Insider, Olise has a release clause in his contract valued at around £70million, while Palace are prepared to fight off interest in Eze.

Newcastle United told “astronomical” Eze & Olise fees

Both players had seen a marked improvement in their games since the arrival of Glasner at Selhurst Park, with the South London club keen on retaining their star players.

Hutton, however, explained that both players will likely leave Palace for “huge money”, with their talents only set to improve in the coming years.

We’ve seen what they bring to the Crystal Palace squad,” he told Football Insider.

They’re exciting, they get bums off seats, they want to take players on, they can assist, they score goals, they’re very intelligent and they can play in a number of positions.

They’re going to go for huge money. They’re outstanding talents at a very good age and they’re only going to get better.

When you put them around players that are at a higher level, talking about world-class players, they’re going to take their game to the next level.

I’m not saying it’s going to be Newcastle but they could go anywhere.

I think they’re going to go to the next level, but the fees they’ll command will be astronomical.”
