Nonetheless, with Spurs, so far, making the loudest noises that they want to sign the 26-year-old, Groves backed the move to happen

If you don’t, then you get yourself back and then you go on the press. I think he will be a brilliant signing for Spurs.

If Maddison does sign, then it would be an outstanding start to the summer transfer window for Postecoglou because he gets a player that will suit his system down to a tee.
