Dementia-Friendly Shopping Hour in Observance of World Alzheimer Day

Leicester City would like to remind supporters of its dementia-friendly shopping hour in the Foxes Fanstore at King Power Stadium in advance of World Alzheimer’s Day.
– Every year on September 21, World Alzheimer’s Day, Leicester City hosts a dementia-friendly shopping hour in the Foxes Fanstore at King Power Stadium.
The Initiative is held on the third Thursday of each month from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Every third Thursday of the month, the hour offers a chance for people with dementia and those who care for them to go shopping in private.

The event, which takes place this month from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on World Alzheimer’s Day, is a part of the Football Club’s commitment to becoming a more dementia-friendly organization.

Every year on September 21, the world participates in World Alzheimer’s Day in an effort to demystify dementia and spread knowledge about it.
