As we wait to see who the next recruit will be in what could be a summer transfer window spree, time to look at two former Hatters who have made the news.

The second is Stuart Moore, a goalkeeper that spent time on loan with the Hatters. Moore, 28-years-of-age, has, according to the Lancaster Guardian, joined Morecambe, on a one-year deal, after becoming a free agent once his contract with Blackpool had expired.

Here at Vital Luton Town, we’d like to take this opportunity to wish Curtis and Stuart every success at their new clubs.

I think we will see players like Pelly given their one game in the Prem then loaned out or sold in January – Sweet says he wants to reward the players who did well last season with a game or two in the prem but if we are all honest the majority of the players are just not up to Prem Standard.

I dont see The Kenny being a big advantage I remember I think it was Bill Shankly who said about Lutons plastic pitch that professional footballers can play anywhere including in Brasil on a beach!

I don’t think so Peter. The great Bill Shankly died in the very early 80s and our pitch wasn’t installed until ’85. As for Pelly he is one of many players who will step up to the PL and give it a real go and well done Gary Sweet for giving them that chance. He’s rarely, if ever , wrong.
