Simone Biles is predicted to be the Olympic champion in Paris. However, Brazilian sensation Rebeca Andrade is the one person who may ruin the celebration for the American gymnast.
Andrade, 25, rose to fame in Brazil after winning two medals in the Olympics in Tokyo. Andrade and Biles are anticipated to compete for gold in the all-around, vault, and floor finals in the next Olympics in Paris. Despite their prior competitions, Paris is expected to be their first Olympic matchup with both of them at their best.
Andrade has been hinting at a new vault, a triple-twisting Yurchenko, that has never been executed by a female gymnast. It will have her name on it in the Code of Points and help her close the difficulty gap with Biles if she finishes it in Paris.
